Mount Barker District strives to be a place where art is visible, creative activities are accessible, and artists thrive. Mount Barker District Council supports arts in the community, via financial and in kind support for community arts organisations, and project support for community artists.
We have been working with the Mount Barker District Council for the last 15 years and were recently approached to develop new branding and a website to promote local artists and events in the surrounding districts.
The Council were after new branding that was vibrant and colourful to represent the arts sector in the Community. Their logo has a two-fold meaning for the initials MBDC, which stands for "Make Believe Dream Create" but also the initials for the Council.
Once their branding was completed we undertook their website project. The result is a clean, modern and responsive design that allows the user to find where they need to go quickly through the easy to use menu structure and visible quick link options.
The home page displays upcoming events, links to community arts in our district, artists, venues and artist opportunities.
Built in Squiz Matrix CMS with easy to use navigation, quick links, community events and social media, the Mount Barker District Council Arts website is now a modern responsive website built for the community in mind.
