The City of Mitcham is a welcoming and inclusive community that values its heritage and natural environment. Mitcham is a thriving City, known for its avenues of street trees, parks and reserves, unique historical areas and magnificent views from the hills.
We have been working with the City of Mitcham for the last 15 years and were recently approached to develop a new website in their Squiz Matrix CMS. Our last build for the City of Mitcham was 4 years earlier so it was a pleasure to be able to revisit their website again and this time on their new platform.
The result is a clean, modern and responsive design that allows the user to find where they need to go quickly through the easy to use menu structure and visible quick link options.
Searching the site was made a prominent feature in the banner area on all pages which using a funnelback search listing.
When you first visit the home page you can quickly find what your looking for through the clear navigation structure which includes their quick links. Each list is made up of 3 key areas that are important to the community when searching the site - trending now, make a request and report an issue.
Built in Squiz Matrix CMS with easy to use navigation, quick links, latest news, community events and social media, the CIty of Mitcham website is now a modern responsive website built for the community in mind.
