Council seems to put a lot of effort into communicating through Facebook but I've been unable to get any response from them via email or using their on line request for service.

SERVICES UPDATE // 🚧 🌱 πŸ”₯ πŸš›

Services that have been deemed essential by the CEO (in line with the Emergency Management (Stay at Home) (COVID-19) Direction 2020) will continue to be delivered. These include πŸ‘‰

🌱 Vegetation management works for fire prevention purposes -
This is particularly important, as we have entered into the Fire Danger Season and are seeing increased fuel loads.

πŸš› Maintenance of Council roads will also continue -
This is also important given that we have entered peak grain season and will be seeing increased truck movements on roads.

If residents have any questions in regards to these activities, please give us a call on 1300 785 277. ☎️

Further information regarding impacts to services can be found on our website πŸ‘‰ www.coorong.sa.gov.au/community/community-information/novel-coronavirus-covid-19

🚚 Cleanaway is classified as an essential services business which, at this stage, will allow us to continue providing waste collection services to Council residents, however like many people and businesses, the lockdown is presenting Cleanaway with a number of unique challenges and we ask residents to assist where possible.

Cleanaway are implementing a temporary change to the kerbside collection service which will instruct drivers that they must avoid manual handling of bins as much as practically possible in the current environment. This applies to bins that are obstructed at the point of collection. To ensure your bins are not missed for collection please see below video to assist Cleanaway with their collection.

☎️ If you find your bin/s are not collected on the normal collection day, please contact Cleanaway’s Kerbside Enquiry Line on 1300 558 409
