Circular Head has some of Tasmania's most beautiful forest reserves, along with scenic waterfalls such as Dip Falls and Wes Beckett Falls, which are managed by Forestry Tasmania. Website Requirements

Circular Head Council were after a website that would provide a vast range of information for local, interstate and oversea visitors. They also wanted a website which would be unique to their council and represent the region.

Solution

Our aim was to provide 'easy to use' website which displayed different choices for people to discover what Circular Head has to offer. This was achievable using various types of media including online information, video and downloadable documents. 

Animation

Flash animation was used on the home page to capture the audience and showcase some of the Council's unique landmark spots.

Flash Movie

A film was setup in its own pop up window, accessible from the home page. The film gives people an opportunity to explore the region and experiences of living in Circular Head within a few minutes.

Photo Gallery 

It was important to the Council to showcase all aspects of the region - forestry, beef production, aquaculture, agriculture and tourism. This was achievable by having a photo gallery page which displays thumbnail and large photos, along with a description for each.
